Keys to the Match: Temecula Valley

*Road Warriors--The Bears start with 3 of their first 5 on the road in league play. This is expected to be a racous and noisy crowd. How well they communicate amongst the noise could play a huge part in the outcome of this match.

*Attacking Efficiency-Every point and every error is magnified in the bright lights of Southwestern League play. Although the Bears recorded a stellar team .305% hitting percentage they recorded 14 errors in a sweep.

*Intensity-Coach Roberto Rodriguez said his side needed to come out with more intensity. No better time like the present in a difficult environment much like the one Cerritos College will provide should the Bears reach finals weekend to gain that experience.

Keys to the Match: Great Oak

*Service Pressure- Murrieta Mesa did an excellent job of serving tough and forcing the Bears into uncomfortable attack attempts and free balls especially in the 3rd set. Win or keep the service battle close and the Wolfpack should be able to hang around.

*Use the home crowd-Get the home crowd involved out of the gate. Aces, Blocks, and big kills are the best way to fuel the crowd.

*Support- Maple and Ellis combined for 46 kills in 5 sets (5.1 kills per set). Who becomes that 3rd option in big moments? The answer could determine the outcome of this contest.
